New Faces:
HOY is pleased to introduce more of the team that will be working on The 2024 Horse of the Year event. Each member lends their expertise and knowledge to complete a capable group who will be the main points of contact for each of their areas.
Entry Secretary: Jo Dee
Jo Dee is a familiar name to most equestrians and many will remember her from the secretary’s chair at the 2015 Horse of the Year show. Dee’s husband Richard and son Luke are well known in show jumping circles, and she herself has a wealth of knowledge of all things equestrian. Her proficiency with Equestrian Entries and secretarial duties provides the perfect backdrop for her to fulfill this role.
Equestrian Competition Manager: Toni O’Kane
Involved with horses all her life, Toni O’Kane was a natural choice for the role of competition manager. As a Hawkes Bay local and long-time Horse of the Year volunteer she has a deep understanding of the show and the needs of both competitors and spectators. O’Kane is looking forward to making changes to the entertainment and to the general aesthetic of the show and will be involved with all decisions involving horses and riders.
Sponsor Liaison: Dominique Visini
Auckland-based and with a background in marketing and media, Dom is a recent appointment to the Horse of the Year event. An equestrian and competitor, the show is a calendar highlight for Dom and she is excited to be part of bringing the event together. She will be working as a communication point for sponsors and will ensure smooth running of everything sponsor-related in the lead up, throughout and after the event.

We are now well into filling up the spaces for Trade Exhibitors at HOY 2016. By now, you should have received the information pack, with The 2024 Trade Exhibitors Application Form. There are very few spaces left in the Premier and Dressage Arenas. If you previously held a spot here, and have yet to contact us regarding your trade site, please do so immediately.
For those of you who have applied for sites already, and have confirmed your sites by making a 20% deposit, please be reminded that your next installment of 40% of your site fee will be due by Friday 30th October 2015. An invoice will be generated and sent out for those payments. Confirmation packs will be sent out soon, for those that have paid and confirmed their sites with the 20% deposit.
