CONDITIONS

The following will apply for ALL Pony Showhunter classes

Category A - ponies 133cm & under, 70cm max fence height, 3.05m stride
Category B - ponies over 133cm & under 143cm, 85cm max fence height, 3.20m stride
Category C - ponies 143cm and up to 148cm, 90cm max fence height, 3.35m stride

Ponies can only enter the Category appropriate to their height.

Horse & pony championship classes will be run over one round and no qualifying is required for entry.

There will be NO Practice Rounds on any day.

Non-Championship classes may be split if sufficient entries are received.

Riders must notify gate stewards of possible conflicts with other rings prior to the start of the class that may be affected.

Title Classes

All horses and ponies must qualify for the Showhunter Title classes by achieving 20 points in the current season prior to the start of the HOY Show.

• All entries for Title classes, INCLUDING UNQUALIFIED ENTRIES, must be received by the closing date for HOY entries that is 4.00pm on Wednesday 6th February 2008.

• A full refund will be given to those not qualifying for the title classes only if the required 20 points has not been accumulated before the commencement of the show.

• If your entry was unqualified at the time of entry and you have subsequently qualified you must notify Louise Blair by Ph 09 412 8645, Fax 09 412 8649 or email [email protected] immediately after qualification.

• Late entries and/or substitutions will not be permitted in the title classes.

• There will be a call-back for all title classes.

• Presentations for the title classes will take place in the SH presentation area. If the timetable allows winners may parade in the premier ring.

• All title classes have double points for NZ Show Hunter High Points Series

• Immediately following the presentation of a title class the High Points presentation will be made for that division.

Non-Title Classes

• Changes, substitutions and late entries will be permitted in non-title classes. Late entries and changes must be received at the main HOY office no later than 4pm the day before the event is due to start.

POINTS GAINED AT 2008 HOY WILL NOT COUNT FOR QUALIFYING FOR TITLE CLASSES
