Pony Club-The first step to equestrian success

Pony Club is the largest organization of equestrian riders in the world. With over eight thousand members, the New Zealand Pony Club provides quality coaching in dressage, mounted games, eventing, show jumping and horse management. Many international riders have begun their equestrian careers at their local Pony Club branch.

Over the season, riders have been competing to represent their area at national competitions in dressage, eventing and games. The Area Teams Show Jumping Competition is a welcome addition to the Pony Club calendar. It reflects the growing popularity of show jumping and the increasing technical level of young riders.

New Zealand Pony Club is the current holder of the Inter-Pacific Nations Cup defeating teams from USA, Canada, Australia , Hong Kong and Japan. In July this year, a team will travel to Hong Kong to defend their title.
