FARMLANDS PROUD NEW NAMING-RIGHTS SPONSOR
Back to Article SearchFarmlands may be the new naming-right sponsors of the 2015 Horse of the Year Show, but they're also very much part of the wider equestrian family.
HOY show director Kevin Hansen is rapt to have such a well-established and respected company on board.
“It's great to have a nationwide rural-based naming-rights sponsor that is not only focused on equestrian,” he says. “This is a company that is very much part of the bigger picture in New Zealand.”
Farmland's chief executive Brent Esler reiterates Hansen's thoughts.
“We are extremely proud to have the Farmlands names alongside Horse of the Year,” says Esler.
The co-operative has supported the largest equestrian event in the Southern Hemisphere for the past five years.
“It seems fitting that New Zealand's largest rural services and supplies co-operative should extend and evolve that relationship to become the new naming rights sponsor for the show.”
Many of Farmland's shareholders are invested in all things equine – whether that be through the Farmlands name or its market-leading brands McMillan Equine Feeds and NRM Equine.
“We work hard to ensure that our shareholders not only receive the best service, but that their interests and hobbies are given the best opportunity to develop and grow. Our sponsorship of HOY is an extension of that philosophy.”
The Farmlands-HOY partnership is set to continue for at least the next two years.
